With little choice and time, the Musketeers and the group decides for frontal assualt, directly to the underground network where the forces of the nobles and local gansters lie. After a series of hard battles they suprisingly found there are many dead lying around the place already ... obviously there were fightings went on before their arrival. As they ventured their way further down they find no living person down the entire underground pathway, and nobody seems to know that there were fightings down there -- then the group find the nobles, lying around dead along with their men. Lune suddenly realizes there's something really wrong about this, while Rio and Emir seem to understand the whole picture at this point.

Moving on, the thoughts of Rio and Emir has confirmed: there is indeed a 3rd party involved in this one, which it planned to let the nobles make battles and conflicts in this city byintentionally assassinating peoples from both sides of the noble family. Now with the nobles dead, the rest of their forces will rampage in total chaos, leading to a civil strife nationwide -- in which the 3rd party can easily take control once both sides lost most their forces through war, and then, with the thank and respect of the people in the kingdom for solving this conflict, become the new ruler of the nation... however, they never imagined it was Ram who did that... shocked, the group and the Musketeers soon found out they stepped into her trap, and that the situation has forced Lune to make a 1 on 1duel with Ram... they fight intensely and long, as Ram is clearly in complete upper hand in both skill and experience, but suprisingly Lune managed to win the battle with perhaps pure luck or a bit of wit in crucial moment, and had Ram fatally wounded and dying... The Musketeers watchs as they don't believe it, but Rio knows in his heart that Ram has decided to die in here right in the start...

He stopped Lune from delivering the final blow, and instead asks her to listen to Ram's last words... as she decribes her life and past, and that how the Great War has affected her, both in fate and heart. Born as a warrior in that time of chaos, she was destined never to have happiness in her life, only to become a warrior, but even with that the warrior lost her battlefield when the Great War ended, which was her everything and meaning to live... knowing that she can't obtain happiness and lost everything, the emptiness made her mind lost and mad, longing only to return to the battlefield... and now, the warrior has fought and died in the field, thus there is nothing more she can wish for...

The Musketeers can't even stand their ground as they hear this, realizing that they actually never understand anything about their Captain... With her dying breath, Ram asked Rio to look after everyone well this time, and passed away when Rio promises to. Then, in silence, the Musketeers let the group pass through the gate and continue their travel to South Thargas.
