["Both he and her didn't say any word, but only staying together in silence, trying to pretend the scar didn't exist. Standing under the moon in night sky, they wanted to cry but they couldn't. As there are too many things that can't be said by words, they can only smile with a breeze of sorrow..."]

Story of 6 years ago.

6 years ago, there was a war broken out in Karlmn Kingdom, fighting constantly against its neighbour. And in there, a naive noble girl named Vomn met Rio, a young man who happens to be a mercernary has been through countless coldness and sadness in this world, in this age of chaos... The young man was cold, uncarring, always alone, and unlike all others, he never cared completely ignored the girl's radiant aura of rightousness as both a warrior and a noble. The girl however, felt despitable for that particular young man, especially he being ignorant to her -- an extremely unpleasant feeling rose within her like never before and out of no reason, and with this feeling in mind, she often went to the young man who was called Rio and tries to pick a bickering fight.

As Rio showed more of his ignorance, she became more irritated and picked bickers out of no cause even more often, while Sherlam -- the only one that Rio cared and talked to, always stand aside and smile while watching these 2 playing "argue". (Rio often said nothign while Vomn went off like loose cannon.) As Vomn looked back to Sherlam, she only felt the woman she looked was like a gentle mother, or a pure naive girl. And since she didn't know when, the only thing that Vomn thought all day was about Rio, even when talking to others, to Sherlam or Ram, the topic was always about that annoying younh man. But she didn't understand at all that, why did't they think the presence of Rio was annoying as she did, and instead even said that he was actually a good person?

As Rio and the mercernaries were ready to leave from capital of Karlmn Kingdom to the battlefield in border area, Vomn suddenly decided to follow and went there together. Perhaps she wanted to see just how "good" or "special" this Rio really was, or maybe Vomn tried to prove that she's no longer a kid that knows nothing -- however everything turned out competely different when she reached the outside, the reality of war, and the real battlefield... seeing people dying, torn apart from loved ones, the anxiety of battles with hundreds and thousand of people in field, the masses of killing and blood, the ever-repeating sadness and tragedies, pain and helplessness... countless people cried and weep right in front of Vomn, while she saw everywhere that innocent souls were forced into torment and misfortune that they never should deserve.

Shocked, Vomn stepped back and didn't know what to do... and at that time Rio didn't say anything, but only stayed silently aside, protect and helping her to let Vomn able to slowly stand up and face the reality in front of her eyes again... And then at that time, Vomn seemed to slowly change her impression of Rio bits by bit, as she found that this young man was perhaps not such a despitable person she once thought was...

As the battles became more and more fierce by day, Vomn started to see Rio as her important companion without knowing. But then at this point -- Sherlam lost her life during combat, and Rio completely collapsed for being unable to do anything back there. Without food or sleep, he talked to no one at all, and at this time Vomn voluntarily came and looked after him, and through that she suddenly realized that, she has fell for Rio already... |
