Rio always ignores, because he knows he'll lose those people who are close to him in the end. But at end of the day he always couldn't stop himself from helping and protecting them, because... because he just couldn't. Tears flows on Vomn's face as she sinks her head in Rio's chest, "To end in here alone I decided, yet words cannot describe my happiness, for you to find me in this place..." she whispered,"Fate, fate it must be...", then smiled and collapsed to the ground...

Carrying her home, Rio makes his every effort in looking after Vomn, but her illness only goes worse by day. Seeing that, Rio seems as if he lost his mind, trying everything he can and thinks off only in attempt to save Vomn... perhaps it is the same feeling that when he lost Sherlam... that he fears losing people he loves over and over again, but all these cannot change the fact any bit, just like the time when Sherlam died in front of him, despite he almost cried his soul out and prayed to the God or devil or what so ever just hoping to make him being the one dying instead.

At the end, Vomn said farewell to Rio, while Rio is crying with tear all over his face. He wants to confess to Vomn but she stopped him, while looking at Lune, smiling. Her eyes says sorry for acting like this in last few weeks, and it is not her, but Lune that Rio should make a future with... Completely shocked seeing that, tears flow down on Lune's face -- it is Lune herself all along who's being insensitive and understands nothing, acting childish and stupid. As Rio looks at Lune, she bursts out -- HURRY UP!! SAY IT!! -- at this last of the last chance. Rio and Vomn stares at Lune surprised, then, after a short pause, Rio confessed again to Vomn, and promised her that they will make a family full of happiness -- they definitely will. Vomn, feeling amazed and warm, said yes with tears, as she close her eyes with her face filled with happiness and brightness that she never shown before...

(Vomn passed away 2 days later, at age of 24.)
