Monsters
Various sorts of monsters and hostile beings can be found throughout the Realm, each holding their special nature and capabilities. With their born characteristics, monsters are generally divided and categorized into one of six types:
Humanoid – Including human, humanoid and sub-human races such as Erudite and Horis. It also includes beings that share similar nature of human. They are often capable of using class skills and items, while using teamwork in combat.
Creature – From wild wolves to ancient behemoth, creatures consist of most non-humanoid living beings. They often live and move in packs or groups and are well adapt in using unique natural abilities. Some creatures may even communicate with humanoids.
Giant Insect – Basically the gigantic version of all insect-like beings. The most common one would be the infamous giant spider. These often owning extensively hard shell, granting high armor class, and either exist alone or in a very large group.
Undead – The living dead. Mostly ceased humanoid or being of darkness such as zombies and vampires. Although physically weak in many cases, they hold immunity or high resistance to most sorts of ability effects, and often come in large numbers.
Summoned – Generally construct such as golems and battle dolls made by humanoids and so. Consisting no life, they own little intelligence but are very resistant to harm and can use various class abilities if the maker is excelled in its design.
Super-nature Being – Beings that are unexplainable in their existence and power are called super-nature, such as faeries, gods or perhaps habitants of another plane. These are often very difficult to be dealt with and little is known about them.
