Symbolize the burden and salvation of her fantasy
Born without a father and abandoned by her mother in her early childhood, Match had nothing to rely on. She escaped into her own fantasy, away from the harsh reality. Over the years these thoughts gathered and became wings at her back, growing bigger and pulling her further away fom reality.
Although Match herself always wished to step out of her
fantasy, the cruel stabs from cold reality always made
her flee back to her world, drowning deeper and deeper...
Symbolize the heavy weight and value with her past
and she carries around all day, hoping to let people see,
but at the same time too afraid to do so. As more and
more content added in the book, this thoughts of dilemma
grows ever stronger.
Symbolize the beauty and uncertainty of her dream
The only line of hope that let Match lived on all these
years, is a promise she made with her mother long ago,
that her wish can be granted after catching 1000 rainbow
birds by drawing them onto the notebook. In time these
rainbow birds began to appear from her wing of fantasy.
But in truth this promise if false and never happened, it's
only something that Match made up long ago to help her
escape the reality.
